INSTRUCTIONS FOR ENTERING THE VINTAGE FIGURE GIVE-AWAY CONTESTS:
The give-away contests will start on the first Monday of every month, and the winner will be announced by Princess Midori on the last Monday of every month.

On the first Monday of every month, Princess Midori will show you the give-away figure in her segment of the show and she will tell you the name of that figure.

If you want to enter the drawing to win the figure, all you have to do is send her an email. Her email address is: vswwmidori@yahoo.com

The SUBJECT LINE of your contest entry email MUST contain the name of the figure she is giving away. For instance, if she is giving away a Darth Vader figure that month, then the SUBJECT LINE of your email should read: "Darth Vader contest".

The BODY of your contest entry email should contain your NAME and and the SHIPPING ADDRESS that you would like the figure sent to if you win.
If you don't give her your shipping address, then you WILL NOT be entered into the contest.

After you have entered the contest, be SURE to watch the last show of the month, because that will be the episode where Princess Midori announces the winner. You will NOT get an email telling you that you are the winner. You have to watch the show to see who the winner is.

If Princess Midori announces you as the winner of that months contest, you will have 7 days to email her again, from the SAME email address you used to enter the contest. The SUBJECT of this email should be "I won!".

The BODY of this email should again, contain the mailing address that you would like the figure shipped to.

If you do not email her within 7 days of winning the contest, then you will be disqualified and the figure will be offered again in a future contest.

You don't have to subscribe to this youtube channel to enter the monthly contests, but it is a VERY good idea to subscribe, so you don't miss any episodes of the show.

YOU CAN ONLY ENTER THE CONTEST ONCE EACH MONTH! If you try to enter more than once in the same month, you will NOT be entered into the drawing.

  • Whoa! Wetbar got into a brawl BEFORE the Jack Daniels started flowing? Man, I want to hear that story!

I have nothing against repro weapons as long as they're not pawned off as originals. I got burned once on eBay after buying a collection of "vintage" lightsabers.

Unfortunately for me, the guy selling them buried the word "repro" deep in the description, which I didn't catch. Turns out the weapons didn't fit into the figures' lightsaber slots. It was very annoying.

  • ZilchZone,

Yes, I've seen several people on ebay use the dirty trick of writing a mile-long item description and burying "repro" or "replica" deep in there somewhere. VERY uncool.

Sounds like you got some of the repro sabers that carsonsmith and I were talking about yesterday.

I've added a link in the description here to some high quality repro sabers if you need any. Their repro DT sabers are expensive, but still ALOT cheaper than the real thing!

  • whats wrong with just having a few repros if not everyone can afford them.. whats wrong with being a casual collector.

  • What bothers me about the Holier than thou collectors is that they rip on repros so much, but I guarentee they buy Uzay figures.... and they are listed as bootleg. There is nothing wrong with repros, at least they fit with the figures. Uzay figures look like crap. I blue snowtrooper.... Come on....

  • This site that sells repro DT sabers is still up but not selling anymore. I have contacted the owner and he says that he no longer makes or sells them. Too bad for those of us that can never afford the real thing.

  • repros arent the proble, the problem is with the people that try to pass off a repro as authentic. I personally dont mind them, infact alot of my personal collection is made up of repros. I use them only in my own collections. So if I ever sell something, it will have an authentic weapon. But as I said they display well, si I use them in my collection.

  • 1. Never buy rare carded figures/variations unless authenticated (or so cheap your willing to take the chance I guess)

    2. Most repro sw weapons you can tell by the drop test. Get one original weapon drop it on a table and it will make a different sound than repros

    3. Anything really rare is going to have people trying to make fakes so study up.

I believe jawatrader or some site will show you the repros vs original weapons, its a really good reference site

  • if you can afford the original then get them if you cant well dont, it all depends on you!!! repros, recards i hate them!! i like to KEEP IT REAL :-)

  • Melt the fakes!! Unless they are stated as a FAKE!!!

How would you feel if they put Miller light inside your budwiser can/bottle??? hehe

Or Ice-Tea in the JD bottles???

It's a fine line, however, there is a differrance:))

  • I really dont care about them either way i just like the show this wuz my first time seein the show may the beer be with you.

  • i dont relly like or hate them but i did melt one down once it was cool

  • Thanks for that Darth Beer I gather from all these comments that the younger ones out there dont mind repros and the older ones like to have original weapons and accessories for their collections. Im still after 2 Princess Leia blasters after my sister lost them in the 80s and they got sucked up the vacume cleaner, and a snowtrooper skirt that got ripped Cheers
