When I heard this song I knew that I had to play it one day and after about a week I could play the whole thing without any music but all by ear and listening

  • thank you very much. By the way if anyone is interested, I have 3 new songs that I wrote myself. Thank you everyone for listening!

  • I also learned this one by ear back in the early 90's. This is one of those songs you hear and when you decide you want to learn it, it becomes somewhat of an obsession. lol

Well done, but keep listening as there are parts played in the lower register of the piano towards the beginning. One of my all-time favorite Elton songs.

  • Well, this is my version of his song, so there are going to be parts that are a little different

  • Very impressive...looks like a combo of reading music and playing by ear...you are very talented...would love to see you film it again with the camera videotapinging your hands, then you can edit it back and forth with slow dissolves and make it look bitchen...

  • yea thank you, umm but I played this entirely by ear, no music

  • thank you very much

  • Soooooo.... much is off....

  • очень класно играеш мне очень понравилось и песня класная (you very good play to pianno):)

  • Elton's lyrics and voice fits with Piano, and it fits excellent with strings and winds, as well as with percussion. It works like a perfect clock. Each one of them have to sound when they have to. Not before nor later.

  • You play so beautiful!! (In Polish = Jak Ty pięknie grasz!!) Well done! Carry on your talent and don't lose it! Greetings from Poland!

  • Oh, I see. That being the case- excellent job. :)
