In this clip, I show six more functional exercises for figure skaters that target the core/hip muscles, with specific emphasis on the hip flexors and extensors. I got a Total Gym a few weeks ago, so four of the exercises are performed on my newest toy =)
Exercises:
1. Monster Walk
2. Total Gym Hamstring Curl
3. Total Gym Sit Spin Squat
4. Total Gym Sprinter
5. Total Gym Oblique Rotation
6. Hip Flexion Isolation

  • i have a couple questions....

    1. how much is the total gym??

    2. can u do the sit spin squat without the total gym???

  • @lyntoria22 pricing on total gyms depends on the model and whether you get them new. I've seen them really cheap online for less than $100--lots of people sell them without really ever using them. The one I have, with all the attachments, plates, etc, was less than $600 USD, which is really reasonable considering how much you can do with it. And yes, you can do that sit spin squat on any supine positioned leg press. I used to do them on a shuttle in physical therapy =)
