Putting in my Tongue piercing

just to show people my jewellery, my hole in my tongue, and show me putting the barbel in the hole , as well as screwing it on, usually when i screw the ball on it only takes me 5 seconds looking in a mirror, but looking at my computer screen was hard and it took a bit longer)

is the hole really annoying without the jewellery?

@PR33T3333N I actually took out my tongue ring due to it bothering my gums about a month ago. When i first took out the jewellery it was definately weird since I had it for about a year and a half. My tongue wasn't used to it at all, but after 3 days it felt normal again. The hole closed overnight which was a lot faster than i thought it would, soi wouldnt suggest leaving jewellery out for extended amountsof time.

how long have you had your piercng?

i just had it done three days ago and i cant wait until i get a smaller jewelry stick thing. and my tongue didnt swell up or anything. all i feel is that tense feeling that wont let me swollow. any tips for a new tongue piercing owner.

@SugarWaterPurpleWorm I've had my piercing for about 5 months now, Keep in the longer bar for atleast 2 weeks, because when i ended up changing my piercing early because i thought my tongue wasnt swollen, it ended up still being a tad too swollen so the jewellery was very uncomfortable and i ended up paying 40$ for a new longer bar to put in. make sure you keep your mouth clean, wash with mouthwash or your seasalt rinse it out after everything you drink/eat other than water, etc

@Heyyy569 hahah no. im sitting on the toilet, but not using it.. the lid was closed lol. most of the lights in my house were too dark for the webcam, and the brightest lights in my house were in the bathroom

@igorstates Before I get piercings or whatever body mod I always end up freaking myself out more than necessary , i was freaked but in the end it was not at all bad -which is usually how it goes. I actually just got my industrial done about a week and a half ago, it's still pretty tender/painful and is annoying to have to clean all the time, but it was definately worth it. and no i dont have skype

@lindsaybabe11 this is the only one, i was thinking about my smiley but heard that it very easily messes up your gums/teeth, and since it migrates within a few months i didnt think it was worth it . next year i plan on getting a vertical lip labret , and thats all i want for now =P
