@rms1163 The Audi drove like a truck but the Benz didn't? BS, the steering is dead, there's no feel so you don't know where the wheels are. The Audi Q5 was voted as being an even better SUV because it has better steering than the Volvo, and that's is. You have not replied back to my facts while all you are saying are PROVEN to be lies.

@rms1163 Better build quality? Plastic, BS there's only one spot where the Volvo has plastic and the whole of the Mercede's center console is plastic and ugly looking. You just bought it for the name, it's already been rated as the WORST in its class by more than 3 auto reviewing magazines. The seats are unbearable? BS the Mercedes has the seats that are as hard as sitting on bricks, as most mercedes do. While the Volvo seats hug you in a soft yet supportive way.

@AdrianC12345 Well - I did test drive both the Audi and Volvo and even took out the Acura RDX, Infinity EX and Land Rover LR2. When it came time to pry open the wallet for a car I would be keeping for more than 4 years - the choice was super obvious - The Mercedes. It has a build quality that puts all of the others to shame. The Volvo has so much plastic and looks extremely cheap - seats were unbearable. Infinity and Acura were typical Asian crap and the Audi drove like a truck.

@LittleJimmySouthern Better than the Audi or Volvo? I doubt that you even test drive them. This is far worse than either. There's no steering feel, the back is cramped, the brakes are very touchy, it's not as fast as the Volvo, can't tow as much, has an uglier interior, it's almost impossible to get into the back, has a worse sound system, and is more expensive. So how could it possible be better?

I'ld rather have the large wheel, traditional styling than the jelly bean look. Most come with the Burled Walnut interior, at no charge, now. I bought the base model. MB has reversed course on this and recognized that there is a recession going on and is bringing in a lot of base models. Mine came with iPod Integration. For less than $34000 it has a lot of class and drives better than either the Q5 or the Volvo.
