Budding Stars of Chaozhou Opera 1 潮剧新星耀梨园-1

Fans of Teochew (Chaozhou) opera will be delighted to know that there is a thriving scene in Shantou (Swatow), China where budding opera aritstes are being groomed and developed.
In the latest round of competition (sping, 2010) involving young performing artistes, a crop of budding actors and actresses made impressive breakthroughs with their polished skills and innovative styles.
These talented young stars look set to blaze a hot trail on the Chaozhou opera scene in days to come.

These were the budding talents (王锐光 , 陈立君, 李文浩, 谢继顺) who performed here recently. Was not aware that they were winners in the recent young talents contest; they were certainly very enthusiatic and watchable.
