@untraile there are a LOT of rumours surrounding the situation. BC Jean was not going to be allowed this song on an album by her record label, which was the reason Beyonce's team took it. Had she actually been allowed this to be put on a cd, Beyonce would have never PAID FOR the song. The minor details are a bit sketchy, but it's not like Bey took this girl's dream from her, this song is only allowed on her albu, now because of how popular it got because of Beyonce.

Beyonce('s management) and BC Jean seem to have come to terms now though, according to Wikipedia.

And Beyonce didn't take the song without getting permission. It was Toby Gad (the co-writer of the song) who offered it to her (once again according to Wikipedia).

He seems to not have talked with BC Jean about it though, so...I would blame him if anyone.

@stillilllife cover songs is awesome and lots of people learn to sing and play instruments that way. But if i found an unknow artist and ask'd to use his/her work and i got a no, but didn't care, becouse well, im rich and famous. That's not okey to me.
