This is my favorite Vai album! His later albums are quite good, but this album's vibe is just amazing. The early 80's was a cool period, and I think this reflects a time in Steve's life when he was all about the music and overflowing with ideas and creativity. He is seriously playing and creating music for himself here, no studio exec imagined this album, it's just a young virtuoso given an opportunity to record whatever he wants.

She sings a lot like Elvis Presley /When she gets the clap. Had that in my head since 1988. Thought of it when I drove past a seafood stand yesterday called, “She’s Got Crabs!” 23 years. Shit. Be taking this with me when I die and find that higher realm.

@fwnm8 well,he can't nor any other guitarist.I deem it impossible to place that label on any musician.there are far too many diverse "genres" in the world. But undisputably,he is awesome.

The melodies on this song you can relate to the sound of Incubus on their second LP, Steve helped on the production
