John McCain says global warming is undeniable, and the U.S. must take steps to stop it. The presumptive Republican nominee also took a swipe at President Bush, who balked at the beginning of his term at signing the Kyoto global warming protocols. (May 12)

  • There is a longstanding and wide ranging consensus within the relevant fields that anthropogenic climate change is occurring and is a threat. Finding fringe loonies with degrees in Theology or Basket Weaving from the University of Joe's garage is not enough to disregard Nobel prize winning work done by top scientists working in huge panels of competent scientists.

  • Mccain is right, no matter what you stand on global warming, the cities get bigger, the trees get fewer and fewer, and polution more common.

  • Global warming is a hoax. it does not exist. People are getting rich off this scare factor. The earth has warmed 1 degree in 100 years. Let's have the debate, there are 100's of scientists that don't believe in global warming or climate change. Or whatever it's called these days, just to scare people. Work us up the world is ending, go watch Al Gore's stupid movie! I'll sell you my carbon foot print! LOL

  • A million times yes. I would much rather pay 4 bucks for gas then see the catastrophic climate change consequence predicted in IPCC models.

  • Arg.... I have to vote for Mccain, the damage otherwise would be irreversable... But as for the comment of global warming and any Christian man who agrees with it, remember this the wisdom of the world is foolishness to God.

  • I'm with ya, no way am I voting for Juan Mccain! If we win, what do we win? I'd rather Obama gets it, cause I can't stand Hitlery, then in 4 years we can get a good candidate, that believes in conservitisim, like Reagan and we can go from there. If we reward Mclame then our whole party will move to the left. This man is a traitor to the party! He takes shots at Bush all the time,Juan you don't have my vote, and I'm a true republican he voluntered for W!!

  • No Bush never really got green, he didn't go along with Kietyo, thank god. China is going to be exempt from the bill, but not Us. You think gas prices are high now, wait till this shit goes into affect. No drilling off the coast of Florida and no drilling in An war= $ 4.00 per gallon of gas! Is it worth it!!

  • I urge conservatives to boycott mccain.Yes,it will be 4 years of hell but it will send a message to the rockefeller republicans that WE are the party.

  • Weathervane McCain is trying to move to the center, but the rabid right is going to abandon him if he does. He's toast in '08.
