This scene is well coordinated in every aspect. Kim said. These two words implied why Kim and Michael are together.
Under the bridge, its like Julia and Michael had one preciously private moment. At the beginning Michael seemed wanting to say something or waiting for Julia to say something, but then he slowly turned his head away, and then by hiding her feelings, Julia turned her head away, too. They really let the moment pass them by. The director did a wonerful job here.

In an othewise screwball comedy, this scene was so particularly poignant. Everything about it... the words, the music, the boat passing under the bridge, the sunlight at the end and the ultimate resolution by the characters made this simply pitch perfect.

The movie wouldn't have been nearly as good without this scene. Brilliant.

So much longing and sadness in that one tear. Beautifully executed by Ms. Roberts! I think it's right that they didn't end up together...

this is the best unhappy ending movie!

its been 12 years after this movie, i hope they make a sequel My Bestfriend's Divorce, still with Julia, Cameron and Dylan on it. lol
