What exactly is this about? Why is it important that the people in this are gay? Is meth popular with gay guys or something?

Those are good questions. Meth is extremely popular in the gay community and what the drug does is lift your inhibitions to such a degree that young gay guys throw caution to the wind and have many sexual partners unprotected. So it is important to bring light to this issue, because so many people are becoming HIV positive because of their behavior while on the drug.

AIDS affects everyone. Anyone who has unprotected sex or shares IV drug equipment with someone who has the virus can get HIV, regardless of sexual orientation. In fact, the fastest growing group of people with HIV is heterosexual women.

@TheWaterBlue Bullshit! AIDS is more commonly spread through Anal sex, just so happens that gay men have more than this, it can be quite rare for hetrosexual couples to get it if their having normal intercourse.

I was a monster...I would smoke meth and take many partners. I would not wear protection. I am so fortunate that I didn't come away with HIV but I did have my heart broken by many men. I was cut off by my whole family and I am now trying to clean up my life.
