Cathay Pacific B777-200 Landing at Changi Airport

There's nothing worn out about this aircraft. The black marks on the flaps are typical dirtwash from oily moving parts, flight through polluted skies and nothing more. If the aircraft were "worn out", you'd see missing rivets, stripped paint, and skin patches all over the place.
The speed brakes didn't respond abnormally, if you're referring to the ground spoiler deployment on touchdown. The 777 ground spoilers are controlled by computer not to fully deploy until reverse thrust is engaged.

What was the whirring sound at 2:35? could that be the reverse thrusters being deployed?!

I will be a Senior Pilot of one of these sometime in the future!

i say that was an amazing landing, especially in those weather conditions

I should say the wings are pretty dirty.......
Good English.. I find it odd that the announcement was made in just English.. Seeing as to how the flight originated in Hong Kong.

Hong Kong is one of the many countries which promotes bilingualism, where English and Chinese are the official languages. In fact, the crew also made the announcement in Chinese, right after I stopped recording.
