Smokey the Bear says only Henry Brown can stop forest fires

Nancy Seufert, a constituent of US Rep Henry Brown (R-SC), protests in front of his North Charleston office. In 2004, Brown started a fire on his property that ran out of control and wound up destroying many acres of a national forest, and despite the fact that a "no burn" rule was in effect that day. Brown contested the fine he was issued, and to a degree that the federal government spent over $100,000 in its prosecution of Brown. Rep. Brown has since written new laws that prevent penalties against those who cause fires on national forest properties.

Great Video! Henry Brown almost burnt down one of our most precious and fragile wildlife preserve. Then he uses taxpayer money to defend himself! What a jerk!
