This piece was classic before Pete Rock got to it. Hearing his sample made me appreciate Gerald Wilson's work more and respect Pete's ear for sampling. Pure genius.

Gerald Wilson did an interview on the radio in new york when he performed in a concert downtown. He said he wrote music for an episode of hawaii 5 0 , I wonder if it sounds like this record ?
