@eunhaeg Unfortunately, most beauty pageants are first and foremost about beauty - not talents. Beauty is paraded, talents stay hidden, as if they are a shameful attribute to someone this beautiful.
I deeply respect this girl for being a positive example to young girls: you can be beautiful AND smart AND talented AND simply whoever you really are, because this is all you can ever be.

I hate the implication of this comment. Are you implying that all beauty queens are stupid or untalented? That is a narrow minded conclusion because the only thing most people usually think of or see in beauty queens is their beauty. However, many, if not most beauty queens have other talents than being able to look pretty. Many of them are brilliant students, wonderful musicians, and more. The stereotype is not made or broken by this group of young women, but by people like you.

she can play allright! but the intonation was all over the place. she didn't show emotions at all (no concentration) just smile here and there. maybe her heart was not really on it.
