Nice sling technique (not to be confused with a sling shot) Notice no extra whirling. I could fully imbed egg sized rocks in living hardwood trees with a sling when I used to practice (yes, I know it wasn't nice to the trees; I was a kid...). Never got consistently accurate though. Hella weapon. You might also investigate European rennaisance javelins, which were often fletched, and sometimes had a cord attached to the butt that was somehow used to help throw them.

Thank you sir, for the video. In my youth, I hunted rabbits and armadillos with a 'stone thrower' and was quite good with it. It is good to see this skill has not been forgotten. Hitting a running rabbit was easy back then, not sure I could easily do it today. :)
nice, when i was 14 i whent to mexico and a little boy made a sling and even showed me how to use it. i kept practicing for like 2 years and i could then make the rock make that zoooming sound through the air, i also made 2 of my own. but then umm i think my brother bought the xbox 360 and i forgot all about it. lolz
