@Ozgarthefighter it cant take place between them at the start it shows the baby metroid protecting samus from mother brain and then it leads on to the main game

Well, bosses are usually quite fun in the Metroid games, so I guess it's a case of waiting to see what happens...

@Oymon I couldn't agree more. As for Ridley's appearance, it's a sure thing, as it was shown in the trailer. We'll also get to be seeing Mother Brain. I gotta be honest with you, I'm really hoping to see Kraid, and I think we just might. As you may know, Kraid was originally going to have an appearance as "Meta Kraid" in Metroid Prime (specifically in the Phazon Mines.) The only difference known from the regular Kraid is the metal area on his head. Hopefully Retro puts him in Other M.

To be honest, from what I've seen of Other M, it's going to be like the classic 2D Metroids and the Prime series, and also be totally original at the same time. I'm seriously hyped about it, and there's only just over 6 week left until it's out. As for bosses, well, I'm not too sure what to expect. Ridley is likely to show up, but I doubt that Kraid will. But hey, who knows...

Well, considering that the Federation actually DOES have a metroid cell culture (remember Ceres station, metroid 3?) it's not very hard to believe they have a metroid cell culture.

Well, it wasn't so much a Cell Culter and a metroid itself, but yeah a point. That said, it kinda implied that Ceres was hit by Ridey before any real testing could be done. However, if you look at events in Other M, it explains a lot.
