just wanna say.. i am in a vocational school for welding (just saying i have some experience) and the white coat your wearing serves no protection at all. because the Ultra Violet rays go right through any white clothing. and you can get bad arc burn on your skin that causes cancer you should wear any other color besides white. preferably black. even grey will work but not white

@MrHydroponicc No protection? You can test your hypothesis by wearing a white t-shirt and spending the day out in the sun. Drink plenty of beer if you are old enough. at the end of the day if you have a tan line you have busted that myth.

haha. Man I have zero interest in welding. The internet and it's magical ways brought me here. However, I must say, you are entertaining and funny. I watched the whole video and I guess your welding video gave me a "spark" after all. (pun intended)

if your gonna just spot weld a few parts its not that critical but but if your gonna weld all day you BEST get full body protection mate you dont wanna know what that light does to your internal organs and your testicles will get fried first a fair warning for all

I am picking up a used one, guy used it for 20 minutes before he decided welding isn't his thing. Paying 50 bucks for it so I can't go wrong at that price. Used welders of all tyoes for the past 40 years and this is just a hobby welder. Thanks for the video, it answers a few little questions I had on this particular model. Again my thanks

put a V in that half-inch butt joint, then lay stringers until it's filled. of course a cheap chicago electric machine can't do the work of a good Millermatic, but it'll get the job done.

i weld by my self the frames. and i use mig 200 amp

that was just for fun what i told you. maybe i can use it for tank and stuff like that. but not the frame :-)

@zeeadkar i wouldn't try it oon a motorcycle, your life is riding on that thing, and the thickness of most bike frames is pretty thick, take your motorcycle to a pro, it will be worth the extra cost now not to go to the hospital later

nice vid just saying if you notch and multi pass it will weld heavy plate just take more wire and you have to clean every pass
