  • The AEC objects are created from specific programs like civil 3d to include 3d surfaces, alignments, profiles, parcels, etc. They are not your standard autocad objects/entities. One method to convert these AEC objects to autocad standard entities is to export them to an older autocad version such as 2004. Watch my video "Converting a civil 3d AEC surface into autocad 3d polylines to import into 3ds max" Hope that helps.
