i agree with his insights. research university plays a vital role for giving an opportunity for those people who wants to share their scientific ideas. more research university must be supported by the government.

Sigh...for all its people? more like selected few due to ethnicity/sex of birth, to those born into a higher income class.
Other than that Mr. Vest, I agree with your presentation, and would've liked to seen the upside to the downside, been the creation of larger campus', along with the funding given to the creators of their own failure, should have been funneled into a wide spread of new universities across the land.
