almost two years now:(
i have been doing volunteer work at the the bay of islands center the last three years, and when he was there whenever i went down i would make sure i brought him a treat and spent time with him. he would follow me around while i was doing work with the other animals too and always entertained the tourists who came. he was such a beautiful soul:)

he was a stray, but you would never have known it by how affectionate he was. he had made his home in the barn at the bay of islands center where he was cared for while they tried to find him a home.he did not come for his dinner one evening and was never seen by anyone again. it was in the middle of winter and we are not sure exactly what happened but we do know that no one took him in. i would have liked to have given him a home but i had 6 kitties of my own and they would not have got along:(
