Bryan Meredith of the Kitsap Pumas saves both the original penalty kick and the rebound in the Kitasp vs. Portland Timbers U23 Open Cup "Play In" game on June 3, 2011. The saves would become crucial as the Pumas would win the game 3-2 and qualify to play in the 2011 US Open Cup as the NW representative from the PDL.
