its not the first mk3 set to run on the rosslare line as there was a publicity run in the late 1980 to promote the IR livery. It was also mk3s hauled by an 071.

The new 16:40 service will be a new intercity train good news at last ;) It is a pity they are railcars the loco hauled trains are going out the door ah well hope these trains are nice...

I dare say thats the only Mk3 train to ever run Rosslare. I noticed a few carriages have executive on them NICE, I wish the Mk3's were on the Rosslare line those 2800 commuter trains what can I say I hate them.
