Deregulation is what got us into this mess, obviously. So why should we return there???

The possibility of a fair economy is an illusion in the presence of a malignant monetary system.

The current monetary system is designed to evoke inequality.

Even rigourous governmental regulation with high redistributive taxes etc. can not avoid inequality. Fairness of a free market system is also an illusion.

For an adequate sollution we have to think beyond those issues, aka more out of the box.

The reason the housing market collapsed is because govt provided insurance to mortgage debt instruments, which synthetically shifted credit risk from those issuing the debt, to the taxpayers, leaving the issuers with a near riskless trade.

The title of this video should expose the lie of a "Fair Economy". Such an economy is not an economy at all. The only economy that will ever exist is a Free Market Economy. Even in the most socialist of any countries, market forces were at work, and eventually triumphed. The problem with forcing an economy to be fair.........is that you are using FORCE!!!!!!!!! GROW BRAINS PEOPLE!!!

Well said Sir! Good presentation of crucial content. How do we organize to counter the bullies, shills, & trolls who plague social networking sites? How best to counter a misinformation machine that uses sites like this to further their aim? The trolling at the The Whitehouse channel astounds me. There is so much of it, and most is strawmanned. I can only assume it is empowered by those with something to lose. We need fact checking resources to politely, and undisputedly counter them. Please!

Rosenkrantz, Kessler, et al...Robert Reich left the Clinton Administration in 1996 after having done all he could to counter Robert Rubin and his neoliberal cronies. The Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act was not until 1999.
