I love when its just Pava and piano because he doesn't have to push the voice and all the colors come out! Such emotion and clarity! Maestro Levine was perfection in accompaniment! Softening when needed and perfect in tempo w/Pava. Yes, I think Levine's whispering of "Bravo" to Pava was indication of the impressiveness of this performance; after all. he had heard Pava sing this many times. So sad that we will never have the blessing of hearing that God given voice sing Nessun on this earth again
