Super Mario Bros. No Death Run

I set out to make a good super mario bros. video and here were my goals:

No Deaths
No Getting Hit
On Hard Mode
Under 10 Minutes

I was surprised to find I completed this on my first try!

Not the greatest display of skill, I could probably do better now. I might make another video.

My time is roughly 9:20. This was done without tool assist (which is quite obvious when you see some of the mistakes I make on the first level... ha ha) and played on an original NES. If you are wondering, it was done on the Mario/Duck Hunt cartridge.

The top speed I have seen for hard mode on this game is 7:20, but it was done on the All Stars version. I will keep practicing and my next goal is to get it in under 8 minutes, so see you then.

In order to make it really perfect is to skip all mushrooms, 1 ups or fire flowers and just keep running and running!

I am working towards it, but the part that gets me if I don't have fire flowers is the end of the final level with the hammer bro and bowser.

I have a friend that can do this too. You two should compete lol. Would be nice to have a better screen angle here. Just for future reference if you do any more of these.

Well its not really a glitch it was purposely coded into the game. But I hear ya.

After you beat the game once there is a hard mode where some of the enemies are different.
