TKL, your argument makes no sense...There's no question that Starcraft II requires excellent micro, but micro is paramount in WC3: the inclusion of heroes and the importance of not losing even a single unit when possible (due to XP considerations) means your micro requirements are much higher than in SC2. If the game REQUIRES more micro to win/compete, you're going to accordingly need to have better micro to win/compete.

@Tchado1000 one of the best? dude, i say it IS the best :) and i sincerely recommend that blizzard would make a warcraft 4. not WoW. WARCRAFT. also i'm waiting for doom 4 now...only that can beat my this moments favourite game...which is doom 3 :)

You call my logic twisted because it opposes yours? interesting analysis.
First, I am a WC3 fan over BW or SCII :P
WC3 is more reliant on micro; however, that does not mean it requires more micro on other games. You are under a false assumption that just because WCIII emphasizes micro, it requires more.
The games require equal amounts of micro. You should try playing at higher levels in both games.
Also, make sure to not judge SCII by it's metagame, but by it's potential.

@truekoreanlover Instead of using the twisted the logic you're using.

@truekoreanlover Nope, you're still not really making sense my friend. It just sounds like you have some kind of agenda to make SCII sound like a better game. WC3 is more reliant on micro; therefore, you need better micro to compete. That's just common sense. SCII is more of a macro game. But what people don't realize is that macro actually takes more apm than micro, which is why SCII requires a higher apm. So you could make the argument that SCII requires more skill if apm=skill.

I'll dumb it down for you, man.
WC3, SCII, BW all require micro.
They all CAN utilize heavy micro as well.
WC3 does not require more micro; rather, it simply emphasizes micro over macro while SCII allows a choice or a combination.
-
@truekoreanlover Your response doesn't really make that much sense man.
-
Heavy micro, I'm sorry... but are you suggesting that Wc3 requires more micro?
I have played all, and I can say from experience that Brood War, SCII, and WC3 all require high levels of micro.
I think you might be mistaking WC3's focus on hero and micro as it requiring more micro.
WC3 is definitely more MICRO-BASED, but by no means does it require more micro; rather, it requires an equal amount but focuses more heavily on it.

Now i respect people's opinions , if you dont like wc3 ,thats fine , however you can not deny the established facts , wc3 is definitely one of the best RTS games ever to be created , if you like company of heroes that is fine by me , but to say that wc3 "doesnt hold a candle" is just plain stupid man.
Of course sc2 is the best rts game now i must admit that but I like it but since I like RTS games with heavy micro and hero factors , I'm more into wc3 and dawn of war :retribution
