Yes, we went to Everest Base Camp and also climbed Island Peak. It was a fantastic trip! Perhaps the most impressive thing was the strength and character of the Nepali people.

You can even see those tents that are for bodies and body pieces and stuff, Not really somthing i would like to see during the final moments of landing :P

@HDaviator the runway was not flattened by any modern machines but by the local sherpa people by making them walk up and down at night whereas the local women would cut the bushes and clear off the grasses during day. so we sud show how gratefulness and b thankful to them.

The "who ever came up with the bright idea to build an airport ... should be shot" was none other than Sir Edmund Hillary. I hope no one wants to shoot him! There is virtually no flat ground in Nepal's mountainous regions. The runway was deliberately built on a 12 degree slope to help planes stop in time and to gain enough speed for takeoff.
