I got given 1 of these as a freebie so can't moan...apart from the fact it's pretty shit.
Battery life is abysmal, the knob as you know has problems and mine sometimes doesn't turn on. Worst was when it let me down out there.
Was going to use it as a webcam but even that's only 320x240@20fps and quality is poor indoors under even long tube florescent light. Looks ok on the pc, but theres no sound and I haven't got the usb connector to even see if it can be used as a webcam. Any idea?

20fps is not the worst for a webcame but ya i dont fully know if u can use it as a webcame. i dont know in the right lighting it can look great but then again when do u ever get [icture perfect lighting. maybe if u do some hacking you might find something but i wouldent waste my time and if you do want a webcame go to tigerdirest or canada computer they have pretty cheap and not to bad webcames
