  • I love the hunger games it was a great book and is being made into a movie a few days ago they optioned it it is going to be awesome you should read graceling by kristin cashore it was a great book i think you would like it

  • a movie?! THAT'S AWESOME. i will definitely check out graceling! thanks for commenting!

  • I completely agree with you about Twilight! Good read, not good literature. And 'Breaking Dawn'... that'll be a fun movie....

So far, I'm up to 26 books read. I had a couple of months where I only read one or two books and then a few months where I read more than five. I don't think that the inconsistancy has anything to do with how busy I am, but with how much I like the books I'm reading at the moment.

  • Oy... not looking forward to the Breaking Dawn movie, haha. Might not even see it.

I have that problem sometimes too. Like if a book is really engaging, I read it really fast and get on to others quicker, but if it's good but not a page-turner, then it's harder to read quickly.

  • I love the Hunger Games. I literally couldn't put it down. I read it in two days (amidst camp obligations)

I'm like halfway through Everything Is Illuminated. It's kind of strange, but okay so far. I really must finish it eventually.

I think I'm going to try the fifty books challenge starting this January. I tried it in 2008 but gave up after a bit.

  • It was SO GOOD. Love The Hunger Games, can't wait for Catching Fire. And Everything is Illuminated is kind of strange - it took me forever to figure out what was going on, but I think it all comes together nicely in the end.

  • Haha, there are exceptions - I don't hate you! I haven't read the night world, but maybe I'll check it out. Thanks for commenting, Katrina!

  • Its called Hands of my Father by Myron Uhlburg. Its actually a memoir so its a true story. It might not be as interesting to someone who isn't involved in the 'deaf' world but its very well written and I would still recommend it!

  • ohhh no. you hate twilight fan girls. dont hate me!! ahhh! I read the host also! I thought it was good, but not amazing, and i agree, it was way too long! ... have you heard of the night world?? Its a very good series!! you should check it out. peace.
