My Schipp is almost 14, the sweetest guy ever. When we got him my kids were 2 and 7. He was awesome with them, fallowed and watched over them always even now that they're 15 and 20 yrs old. When I had a day care he loved all the kids. Even now when a small child comes into the house he goes right to their side and keeps an eye on them. Very good dog:)

I have a Schipperke, they can be aggressive. I would not recommend them if you have children. Mine also suffers from anxiety. He's also very jealous, and does not like other animals around his owners, sharing attention. Two of my four dogs have to live upstairs for this reason. I love him to no end, but do your homework before you get one.
