This is an amazing video. I like how you captured your friendship in a Super 8. It gives a sense of nostalgia. The song you picked from Explosions in the Sky makes me think of wonder and excitement and using the super 8, it makes me think of what it was like in younger days. Kudos.

Was this filmed on super8 or rendered to look like it? Didn't the film cost a LOT?

@Maxtion This was shot on Super 8 film. Ektachrome 64T was the stock I used. I believe I shot three cartridges at 24 fps for about 2.5 minutes of film each. As for the costs, I spent around $18 on each cartridge, $17 for processing and $20 on shipping costs.
The costs definitely add up quickly so I usually only shoot Super 8 on certain occasions. With costs in mind, I definitely think a lot about what shots are worth shooting and pick them carefully.
