we wanted to see if we could put all the ingredients for our paleo treats in the food processor all at once. turns out you can. accept i pre-gound the chia seeds.
Ingredients:
145g macadamia nuts
45g chia seeds
30g raw coconut
75g dehydrated gogi berries or bing cherries
100g dehydrated (no sulfur dioxide or sugar) apricot
145g dates
15-20g, cacao powder
Place macadamia nuts, coconut, and chia seeds in food possessor and grind to desired consistency then place mixture in a large mixing bowl. Put apricot and dates in food possessor chop until SUPER gewy then add to the mixing bowl. I like to grind the gogi or bing cherries separately then add to the bowl. Now knead this concoction and slowly add cacao powder to desired flavor (this will take a little bit of work to make the flavor consistent). I like to mix in some whole chia seeds at this point for texture.
13g ~ 1 block carbs and 1.5 bocks of fat
beth thinks you could just put all the ingredients in the food processor and grind it all at once but I haven't tried it.
