@Guyver5182 So true, but Rick Rude, and Mr. Perfect, made the IC Title during this time pretty much above status of the WWE Title, and World Title in 2012.
And as top mid carders, Rick, and Perfect got more TV time then Hogan.

The era of annoying, cartoonish gimmicks. It soured me on wrestling and I stopped watching it altogether from 1989 until about 1996.

Rude and Mr. Perfect should have been WWF Champions, but they had the great misfortune of wresting in the WWF during the Hogan era.
