11-3 in Decembers for several years -- a sold out crowd -- wow, how fun was it when Cincinnati had pro football.. my wife would have been much happier back then

@joebradio It was great fun! The atmosphere was electric and the offense was really something to watch. That game was the first time I got so excited that I started jumping up and down, and that was when Danny White got sacked for a safety in the game's opening series. The Bengals scored 22 1st qtr. points, a Cowboys record for most points allowed in an opening quarter, and Cincinnati won this game 50-24. It was indeed a great time to be a Bengals fan.

@Prolia13 Oh yeah. As Verne said, scalpers were getting a ton of money for tickets to this game. It sold out the day single-game tickets went on sale.
