It wasn't the Eighties. It was 1972 and this was from a record / video called FREE TO BE... YOU AND ME. It was a project of the Ms. Foundation to encourage gender neutrality,
and salute values like individuality, tolerance, and comfort with one's identity. The major theme was that anyone -- whether a boy or a girl -- can achieve anything. Which wasn't a common belief back then.
This track called HOUSEWORK was performed by Carol Channing who was a famous comedian.
