I sang this song to Dwight on March 27. This was a mere three weeks before Michael and Dwight parodied the same song in an episode, coincidence?? or a sure sign that Dwight really will be mine..and i will guest star some day...ahhhh
Also, here are the lyrics:
A long long time ago
I can still remember, how Dwight Schrute he used to make me smile
And I knew that if I moved to Scranton, his heart and love, they would be won
And I knew it would be worth it every mile
But Dunder Mifflin made me shiver, with every ream of paper he'd deliver
Even with his stapler in Jello, he's such a lovely fellow
Those glasses I knew were a sign and oh that hair, it's so divine
And something touched me deep inside, the day Dwight would be mine
Dwight, you are such a really great guy
You own a beet farm, know karate, and I'm not gonna lie
Volunteer sheriff's deputy, my oh my
Can't wait for the day you'll be mine, can't wait for the day you'll be mine
Did you know that he hates Jim, and if they fought you know that Dwight would win...
Cause he rules the Do-jo
But there was that time when he hit that pole, and the concussion he got really took a toll
And he could only talk or move, real slow
Well he thought his middle name was danger and to all who saw him, he was a stranger
He kept taking off his shoes, and I didn't want to lose
This guy so hardworking, alpha-male, merciless, insatiable and a jackhammer
But I knew that I would not stammer the day Dwight would be mine.
Hey thanks for the glorious comments! if only the writers would stumble upon this and then i could guest star...ahh haha. anywho, the lyrics are all posted in the video description so check em out and enjoy!
