What a great vintage tune.

  • Amazingly sharp, perceptive visuals - really brings the lyrics to life. By the way, Lady Mendl was Elsie de Wolfe, the famous decorator who did head stands in her 80's, and the last lyric refers to Eleanor Roosevelt endorsing Simmons mattresses for a print ad in the thirties. Cole Porter - no one did it better!

  • Thank you so much. I couldn't figure out who she was because I was spelling her

name wrong. The first time I heard this song was in Evil Under the Sun and it was

just such a happy tune. I loved it. We were fortunate to see the musical play a few

years ago at our local Carpenter Theater (CSULB). Timeless, just timeless.

  • Just wanted to say thanks for uploading this version of "Anything Goes"! I was searching for one that hadn't been remastered and still sounded warmly fuzzy and crackly. :)
