This CSX train is northbound on the Toledo Sub (Ex-B&O) on a snowy March 7th, 2008. A day where a foot of snow threatens the Cincinnati Metro Area. Hamilton is about 25 miles north of Cincinnati. The location shown here is Butler St. and this is the Butler St. interlocking. The B&O and Pennsylvania Railroads cross here (Now CSX and NS).
They share trackage through the interlocking and north to New Miami, about 1.5 miles. I didn't edit out the beginning because after the clock bells you can here the horn of the Great Miami railroad switching one of the few remaining paper mills in Hamilton.
I like this. I was there for my Dads funeral Feb 28th that year. The snow started just before we were to head back to Louisiana and needless to say, didn't get out of there that weekend. Thanks for posting

I'm sorry about your Dad. The snow certainly must have reminded you what winter in Ohio is like. Just in case you forgot living in Louisiana. Thanks for subscribing.

I never got over to look that day but I doubt it. The last time I was over there, several months ago, they had a much larger locomotive.
