Documentary 'Pixies on Earth' based on an amateur theatre group in Tangla, Assam

Dapon, is an amateur theatre group in Tangla, Assam, started by Pabitra Rabha in 2008. Rabha graduated from NSD in 2003 with a specialization in acting. Dapon took up a project to teach dramatics to dwarves and it transformed their lives. In this project, we have tried to show the after and before life of the dwarves in joining Dapon, the theatre group. These people were laughed at, treated badly in public places, were bullied by childrens in roadside. They were shy at coming out of their houses. In brief, they never got the social dignity as normal human beings get. they were treated as an object of entertainment. But, now after joining Dapon their lives have changed. they have found theri place in the society. People treat them well and respect their work. Now. these poepl are very happy in their lives and do not want to go back to their earlier lives.
