As a player, Taylor was regarded as the prototype NFL free safety, blessed with the quickness of a cover cornerback and the size of a strong-side linebacker. He had a rare combination of size, speed, strength and agility and was a hard hitter. He was named to his first Pro Bowl following 2006, a year in which he led the Redskins in tackles and then another Pro Bowl in 2007 after his murder. At the time, he was leading the NFL in interceptions.For his career, Taylor had 344 tackles (245 solo), 12 interceptions, 41 passes defended and four forced fumbles.

this man played with all his heart every play on every sunday, monday, saturday, or thursday. whenever he was on the field he left it all there like it was that last time he was going to be able to do it, unfortunately a senseless crime took this man from his baby daughter, fiancee, family, friends, teammates, and his fans and now hes unable to do that. he was great, and its scary to think of what he could have been. RIP Sean, youre missed greatly.

sean taylor was great and we gon miss him forever
one thing that really touches me is how the ravens paid tribute to him that game against the pats and how they put on a HELL of a performance. i never seen them play with so much passion and they really deserved to win that game; the pats really did not go undefeated because in reality, the ravens won that game. but anyways, that was truly one of the best games i have ever seen and i really liked how baltimore put everything out there for ST
