the easiest way to deal with that demi-lich is use a scroll of protection from undead on your characters with the mace of disruption. that's to the scroll all undead will ignore him so you can just wail away

@mynameisnotlilly sucks :P
-
@RiseofBane I don't think the decoy can be left behind! :)
-
@mynameisnotlilly well u could left decoy far outside demi-lich's room, so that way Lilly would never be detected right?
-
@RiseofBane Mislead is dispelled by True Sight, but the decoy (not invisible caster) has to be within range, so it's easily exploited. ;) Dispel Magic should be able to dispel anything--except maybe "absorption" type protections, but even then, it will have done something (using up some of the absorption potential of the protection).

@mynameisnotlilly I thought there is no way to detect mislead anyhow, could I be wrong? I know some demons can see through invisible creatures regardless of game engines, but can demi-lich? hm.. Also is that true that the dispel magic can dispel Mislead??
Are you by any chance doing a blind run? Forgive me if i am stating the obvious, but :
Demi-lich imprisonment can be tanked with Spell Immunity : Abjuration, any form of enrage or, if one is high enough level, Spell trap.

@Tad30s It's not blind--I played the game when it first came out and at least one time in between then and now--but my memory is so poor, it might as well be (I don't recall the story line, etc.). :P This is my first time playing as a mage, though, so it's been a learning experience in itself. And thanks. I think she employs just that strategy (Spell Immunity: Abjuration) in the next video.

Poor Jan... At least however, he wasn't killed, but his fate remains a terrible one nonetheless.
Also, thank you for that clarification on lichs and demi-lich's, I had always thought a demi-lich was a lich that had not yet achieved full lichdom, or whatever it would called.

@NS13Guardian Sure. It is strange that they use "demi-", even if an accurrate reflection of their physical form. The only similar term I can think of is "demihuman," which also doesn't signify a lesser creature--just different.
