Sri Chamundeswari Floating Festival 2009 - Theppothsava - Part B

The procession idol of Chamundeswari is placed in a boat and taken round in the Devi Kere tank, which is close to the temple. Hundreds of people witness the floating festival amidst colourful illumination.
Chamundi Hill 2009 Rathothsava dedicated to Goddess Chamundeshwari, which is held with traditional gaiety and religious fervour. Traditional musical instruments, including the mangala vadya, nadaswara and cymbals, were played in the background, adding to the religious fervour.
