I thought with the lighter pot this would sound a bit more hollow then it dose .It is just amazingly beautiful .. Is the head lighter ( thinner) and the strings as well to bring out the depth of its tone with the lighter pot ? I like this instrument very much .. Thanks for sounding it so beautifuly as always , Yours Guy

whats with the higher frets? are there any?

@1pixle No, in its standard configuration, there are no frets above the 15th. Most of the folks who play old-time music in clawhammer style (the target market for this banjo) never play above the octave, anyway, so this makes sense.
It can be ordered with 22 frets, of course, if there are stratospheric notesjust begging to be played... :-)
