  • @SamanthaAlix It's the heat..it was in the high 90's that day..I have the DVD and Bill Murray tells the audience to keep hydrated.

  • @donquixbrote and the other guy is dave grohl

  • Kevin Spacey on drums?

  • @JazzLaboratory Dont put words in my mouth now,I did not compare him to Hendrix. What I said was that I heard Hendrix, just like I hear SRV (GCJ played with Jimmy Vaughan often). What GCJ pulls off at 4:07 and 4:25 is all him and...it...is...tasty.Its hard to imagine what todays versions of the greats would sound like being that rock and blues today seems to be a lost art. I think with GCJ we can hear todays version of past greats,he still maintains his own style though, cant categorize this dude

  • I really love the music and the fact that hes playing an epiphone, not the usual gibson like other pros do

  • @TheJeffers1234 If he was white nobody would be making Jimi comparisons, cuz it just doesn't sound like Jimi. The vocals don't remind me of Jimi, nor the songwriting, nor the guitar playing. Don't get me wrong, I really like this guy, but I was surprised to hear so many Jimi references. And I agree with you that his guitar playing is more Clapton/60s/70s blues guitarists...But honestly, his guitar playing is...OK. Good enough for the music, and that's what counts. But enough with the "Jimi".

  • @Mlow160 The Hendrix comparison is a stretch. I grew up in the 60s/70s. I've heard plenty of Jimi and a ton of guitarrists - psychedelic, blues, jam bands and otherwise. Personally, I hear more Jimi in a live SRV jam than I do in Gary Clark. With that said, I really like Gary Clark Jr.
