The North Shore Minnesota

I took a family vacation with the giesens. the video is from lustsen, two harbors, duluth, tofte, and some other random towns.
I made another one too but i made that one on 4 hours of sleep in 2 days and did a half assed job. this is the new, improved, and revised version. enjoy..

we've stayed there, too - nice. thanks for responding. we spend alot of time looking for nice places to stay up the lake for the next visit. last october we stayed from lutsen to grand marais. if you know of anything good please let me know. we're from missouri and love it up there -- climate, scenery - feel one with it. where are you from?

I love Duluth, but I havent been there since like 2001, I'm trying to persuade my parents to plan another vacation up there, I love watching the freighters come in, touring the irvin, the train ride, and traveling to Split Rock Lighthouse and Gooseberry Falls. Great footage! glad you had fun

I dont know when uwre at Lutson, but two yrs. ago I helped build the Chalet on the top. I workded up there most of the fall.

I'm a Duluth native and really, really appreciate your 'tour' of the Northshore. My mom still lives in Silver Bay - so it was like driving up the shore to see her...Thanks a million! From another SUE - great job on the video btw (loved the electric chair sign and shot of your son in the chair....LOL. )

we stay-over in the "cities" - as the north shore folks say - on the way up and do things. like the area alot. stay in eagan, apple valley areas - similar to where we're from in kc - if not downtown or at the mall. our son is now college-aged but when younger would have to take in the imax, twins, zoo, green mill, etc. lots of fun, then head to the lake to relax and unwind. by the way, enjoy your video.
