In a new photography exhibit opening in June at The Gathering Place, cancer speaks through the portraits and stories of participants living with cancer. Photographer Marc Golub sat down with twenty-nine participants, sharing their stories from the day of diagnosis to where they are currently in their cancer journey. So what does cancer say? More importantly, how do the participants speak about cancer? Some speak of fear and sadness, some speak about anger, and some speak about joy and blessings. Others speak about dying and not wanting to let go of life, about fighting the cancer and about faith. Many speak about gaining a perspective about life they believe would not have happened without the cancer experience. For more info please goto www.touchedbycancer.org or www.photogmarc.com
