If you feel that you're doing too much, just leave the situaiton. Period. Give yourself distance so as not to mess your "game" up. If she's feeling you she won't give you half as much shit as a random girl who is unsure of herself and knows you don't need her but isn't sure if you are aware of that simple fact or not.
