Hiking Down A Nature Trail

Nothing like an enjoyable hike in the mountains. Fresh air, beautiful scenery, and great exercise. Who could ask for more? (Thanks to Jeff Smith for excellent camera work!)

@crawleykakes Just a week or so after doing this hike it snowed up there and they closed Tioga Pass for a day or two! It's amazing how the weather can be so extreme at higher elevations! Thanks for watching!

@kenrg I highly recommend the hike! I'd have to take a look at a map, but it might be that Saddlebag Lake is almost as close to your home as it is to mine. From opposite directions, but probably about the same distance.

@GreatGig1 Thanks for watching! Actually I wrote the song first, but while writing it I kept in mind the kinds of things I was likely to be able to get on video. I knew I'd be doing the hike and so I brought along a granola type bar and other stuff for the video.

@BRACK3N This was a pretty good snow year. In fact, they were still skiing at Mammoth in July! (Mammoth is a ski resort here in California located a little ways south of Tioga Pass.)

Thanks for the hike! This was a great way to take that hike due to the stale nature bar and all...LOL How fun to have a camera person with you too! What came first...the song or the video clips??  Either way, BRAVO! :-)
