UKIP Leader Nigel Farage speaks at a press conference along with Marta Andreasen and Paul Nuttall. UKIP finshed second overall, beating the Liberal Democrats and the governing New Labour Party who came third.

As great as the results were for UKIP in these elections I do not see any of UKIP's political intiatives coming true until they win a significant number of seats in the House of Commons.

The thing that worries me is the amount of spoilt votes.

Tens of thousands in all voting areas.

In the Scotish elections there where 140,000 spoilt votes.

Has there been any further news on the deformation of democracy in The Home of Democracy on the 4th of June? Remember the issue mentioned on this clip? With the ballot papers being sent away to be 'commercially hot folded', accidentally taking away thousands of voters rights to vote UKIP, against electoral commission advice? This is a big, big issue in my opinion and needs bringing to the forefront of debate.
